American Cultural Immersion Program in English
UNAM Boston has organized Summer Puma 2024 for you. This is a 3-week program with an average of 12 hours of instruction per week including lectures, talks and classes in the city.
Aimed at students and offered in face-to-face and virtual modalities. It is designed for you to learn the particularities of North American culture, specifically in the New England area, and at the same time improve your communication skills in English.
Goals
The immersion program will allow you to better the four English language skills:
Listening compression.
Oral expression and interaction.
reading compression.
Written expression and interaction.
The student will become familiar with practical aspects required in the labor and academic fields such as: preparing for a job interview in English, writing de a CV and applying for a university in an English-speaking country.
The student will learn about the culture of New England, which is one of the regions with the most history in the American union. For this, issues related to art, sports, history, gastronomy, innovation, diversity, inclusion, among others, will be addressed.
